Hello! Honestly, I have been so loving these first months of 2018! I feel like I have already learned so much, understood more, and had more opportunities than ever before. My spring courses have started up, and I am happy to have work to busy me. I also have gotten back into reading and writing for fun which has been in sort of a rut for the past few months. With the new month, I love setting new goals and making new things- and voila, here comes the most delicious acai bowl! Though they aren’t super popular where I live, I am a devoted acai lover, and will brave any type of cold weather with my freezing cold smoothie bowl haha. 🙂 Today I’ll share one of my absolute favorite recipes for a super creamy and delicious acai bowl!
1.5 frozen banana
1.2 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 packet Sambazon frozen unsweetened acai packets
Method: Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth! The big tip is, the less liquid you use, the thicker and more ice-cream like it will be! You will probably have to stop the blender multiple times to scrape the sides and mix it up. So Good!
That’s it! super simple and nutritious!
Toppings: Strawberries, banana, Unsweetened coconut flakes, chia seed, and mango. I love arranging mine in moon shapes around the edge of the bowl…I don’t know…I just thinks it’s pretty and aesthetically pleasing 🙂
Note about my Acai: For my bowl, I used Sambazon’s unsweetened frozen acai packet, (pictured below) and it was incredible! I have used their freeze dried acai in the past but getting it frozen took it to a new and amazing level! I would 10/10 recommend!
